Renovate Alfred Pioneer Center
The 31,611 GSF Pioneer Center, originally built in 1958, is undergoing a full renovation to become a modern, student-centered facility. Upgrades include a new dining area, commercial kitchen, wellness spaces, and full MEP system replacements. Construction begins Fall 2025.
Greenpac Mill
Phase I
The first phase of the project focused on excavation and the relocation of existing utilities to accommodate the installation of concrete foundations for three new structures: the Biogas Building, the Motor Control Center (MCC), and the Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Building. These new facilities are strategically located between two operational factories — Greenpac and Cascades — requiring precise coordination to avoid disruption to ongoing operations.
Sumitomo Rubber USA Decommissioning Project
The Sumitomo Decommissioning Project involved a detailed and highly coordinated effort to safely remove and prepare specialized manufacturing equipment for transport. The scope of work included the disconnection of all utilities — including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems — serving 54 PCR (Passenger Car Radial) tire press machines.
Chase Commons
The former Presbyterian Home, located on High Street in Lockport, served the community as an assisted living facility from its opening in 1959 until its closure. Through an extensive rehabilitation effort, the existing buildings were repurposed into 50 modern apartment units, while preserving key architectural elements that reflect the property’s original character. The redevelopment delivered approximately 40,000 square feet of finished residential space now available for lease.
Shea’s 710 Theatre
This fast-tracked project will enhance accessibility, expand performance opportunities, and elevate the visitor experience—marking the first of several planned investments across the Shea’s campus and Buffalo Theatre District as Shea’s Buffalo Theatre celebrates its 100th anniversary.
Shea’s Performing Arts Center

This project involves upgrading the electric distribution systems on SUNY Geneseo’s North Campus.
Silver Creek Central School District
BCC was awarded the Construction Management Services contract for Silver Creek CSD in June 2024. Over the following months, we worked closely with the District and their design team to finalize plans and successfully secure approval for the largest Capital Improvement Project in the District’s history in December 2024.
Williamsville Central School District
An emergency structural repair project was executed to address critical stability issues within the building. The scope of work included hydraulically jacking the structure to restore its original floor elevation and repairing approximately 170 structural steel columns.
North Tonawanda City School District
In 2024, Buffalo Construction was proud to partner with the North Tonawanda City School District and their design team to successfully pass a $40 million capital project referendum in May.
Western New York Children’s Psychiatric Center
Working with Dormitory Authority of the State of NY (DASNY), BCC currently serves as the Construction Manager for this new construction and renovation healthcare facility project.
Buffalo Central Terminal: Phase II
Progress at the Buffalo Central Terminal continues with Phase II of capital improvements, bringing significant enhancements to the historic site.
The Niagara Arts and Cultural Center
This project aims to restore the Grand Theatre at the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center (NACC), along with supporting facilities such as bathrooms, HVAC systems, sprinklers, and the first-floor entrance.
Village of Kenmore Police Department
This project entails constructing a state-of-the-art police station to replace the outdated 70-year-old facility. The new two-story, 18,000 sq. ft. building, complete with a fully equipped basement, is designed to meet the demands of modern law enforcement.
SUNY Geneseo: Sturges and Fraser Hall Renovations
The Sturges Hall renovation transformed this historic 1938 building into a modern, 43,000-square-foot space supporting academic and student services.
The Fraser Hall renovation will provide four classrooms, a Prayer, Meditation, and Reflection Room, the Hillel center, and the LGBTQ+ Resource Center on the first floor, along with a vibrant lobby, café, lounge, and conference rooms.
SUNY Binghamton Lecture Hall Building
The new building will serve as a dynamic hub for students, offering diverse learning spaces and an Information Commons for studying and collaboration. It will accommodate current and future demand for large classes and provide more scheduling flexibility for both faculty and students.
Lyndonville Central School District
The project brings a range of significant upgrades to the district, enhancing both athletic facilities and school buildings. A new synthetic track will surround a natural grass regulation soccer field, with improved drainage to keep the site in top condition. This upgrade allows the school to host home track meets for the first time in over a decade while also providing a valuable recreational space for the community.
Advanced Aircraft Industrial Manufacturing WNY
BCC is providing design-build services for a brand new 150,000 square foot Advanced Aircraft manufacturing facility project in Elma, NY.
Canalside Gateway Building
Buffalo Construction Consultants (BCC) was selected by the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation to serve as the construction manager for the new Canalside Gateway Building. With an approximate 3,000 square perimeter footprint, the Gateway Building will be a four-story structure that includes a level along the canal towpath in downtown Buffalo, NY.
East Aurora Union Free School District
In 2017, Buffalo Construction Consultants (BCC) was hired to manage East Aurora Union Free School District’s most recent district-wide capital improvements project. The project scope encompassed work at Parkdale Elementary, East Aurora Middle School and High School, and District Offices.
Fredonia Central School District
-2024 Phase 1 will include a roof replacement and a new accessible playground at Wheelock Elementary, along with track resurfacing at the main campus in 2026. Phase 2, starting in Spring 2027 and continuing through Summer 2028, will focus on major mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure upgrades at the main campus, as well as additional roof replacements.
Depew Union Free School District
2021 Depew Union Free School District Capital Improvement Project encompassed significant upgrades across four district facilities: Depew High School, Depew Middle School, Cayuga Heights Elementary, and the Bus Garage.
Attica Central School District
This project includes a very diverse scope of work spread out over both campuses of the district. At the high school and middle school, there are roof replacements, a wing gut renovation to accommodate the new district offices, cafeteria renovations, HVAC and electrical upgrades and a new addition for the agriculture program.
Lewiston-Porter Central School District
-2024 Project: This important project provides significant replacements of existing HVAC systems and equipment throughout the school district. At the intermediate education center (elementary school) and middle school, brand new heating and cooling systems are being installed and at the high school, the gymnasium and locker rooms are receiving new air conditioning systems. In all, HVAC upgrades include new boilers, new air handling units, new chillers, new unit ventilators and new rooftop units.
Niagara Falls City School District
The 2019 Capital Improvement Project at Niagara Falls City School District was comprised of significant work at nine (9) of the district facilities: Abate Elementary, Cataract Elementary, Maple Elementary, Mann Elementary, 79th Street Elementary, Hyde Park Elementary, Gaskill Prep Preparatory, LaSalle Preparatory, and Niagara Falls High School.
Cheektowaga Central School District
Breaking ground in October 2020, this $17 million project consisted of a 30,000 sq. ft. addition on the south side of the existing building of the Union East Elementary School.
Maryvale Union Free School District
2018 Capital Improvement Project. The Maryvale Union Free School District embarked on a comprehensive initiative to enhance learning environments and improve infrastructure across three key facilities: the Primary School, the Middle/Intermediate School, and the High School.
Lancaster Central School District

Buffalo State College: Central Heating Plant
