Buffalo Construction Consultants was selected by Cedarland Development Group as the Construction Manager for this $12.5M transformation of 950 Broadway, formerly known as Eckhardt Department Store, located in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood of the City of Buffalo.⁠

The vision extends beyond the mere construction of physical structures; it revolves around fostering a thriving community. Within the Eckhardt building, 28 modern and affordable housing units will be designed to provide quality homes for individuals and families. Additionally, a dedicated commercial space will house a free Early Childhood Education program, catering to qualifying community members and nurturing childhood development in partnership with the Community Action Organization of Western New York (CAO).

Partners for this project include New York State, the City of Buffalo, Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI), The Community Preservation Corporation, New York State Housing Finance Agency/State of New York Mortgage Agency, Empire State Development (ESD), New York State Department of State (DOS), Homes and Community Renewal (HCR), and the Erie County Industrial Development Agency (ECIDA).
