The former Presbyterian Home, located on High Street in Lockport, served the community as an assisted living facility from its opening in 1959 until its closure. Through an extensive rehabilitation effort, the existing buildings were repurposed into 50 modern apartment units, while preserving key architectural elements that reflect the property’s original character. The redevelopment delivered approximately 40,000 square feet of finished residential space now available for lease.
The new apartment community features a thoughtful mix of layouts, including a majority of one- and two-bedroom units designed to meet the needs of a diverse range of residents. Additionally, a selection of efficiency apartments, each approximately 400 square feet in size, offers an attractive option for individuals seeking a more compact and affordable living space. Together, these updates have given new life to the former Presbyterian Home, creating a dynamic and welcoming environment for the Lockport community.
