Shea’s 710 Theatre
This fast-tracked project will enhance accessibility, expand performance opportunities, and elevate the visitor experience—marking the first of several planned investments across the Shea’s campus and Buffalo Theatre District as Shea’s Buffalo Theatre celebrates its 100th anniversary.
The centerpiece of this transformation is a striking two-story lounge and cabaret, opening onto a seasonal patio along Main Street. Framed by soaring glass within the building’s iconic arches, the space will feature a bar, stage, and seating for 100. Additionally, a new multipurpose room will introduce Shea’s first-ever fully accessible arts education space.
Modernized restrooms, a revamped box office, and upgraded coat check and concession areas will enhance guest convenience with new fixtures, technology, and ADA-compliant service points. Critical infrastructure improvements—including a new roof, upgraded HVAC system, and enhanced water and lighting efficiencies—will further modernize the venue.
With expansive glazing and a welcoming patio, the new lounge will seamlessly connect performances to Main Street, while an upgraded marquee and digital signage will create a dynamic, inviting façade.
