Renovate Alfred Pioneer Center

Originally built in 1958, the two-story, 31,611 GSF Pioneer Center is set to undergo a major transformation into a modern, student-focused facility. This comprehensive renovation will introduce a new dining area and commercial kitchen, along with upgraded fitness and wellness spaces designed to better serve the campus community.

The project includes full replacement of outdated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, along with significant structural updates such as a new penthouse, partial roof replacement, and new energy-efficient windows. A mechanical room addition, modern fire sprinkler system, and elevator installation will enhance both safety and accessibility.

Hazardous materials will be safely abated, and all renovations will comply with current building codes and ADA standards.
Construction is scheduled to begin in Fall 2025.
