Lackawanna City School District

The proposed project will enhance facilities across multiple district schools, including:

High School/Middle School

• Interior Upgrades: Large group instruction space, classrooms, secure entry, locker rooms, restrooms, flex/storage space, auditorium seating, and offices.
• New Additions: Media center, pool deck tile, and library renovations.
• Site Work: Synthetic turf field, lighting, bleachers, dugouts, netting, stormwater management, parking, sidewalks, and signage.

McKinley Intermediate School

• Relocation: Grades 5 and 6 students from Martin Road Elementary and the MS.
• Interior Improvements: Classrooms,, library/media center, computer lab, secure entrance/office, nurse’s office, kitchen, cafeteria and restrooms,
• Site Enhancements: Main entrance renovation, outdoor eating area, bus loop, parking, playground, landscaping, and a pole barn storage building at HS/MS.

Martin Road Elementary School

• Improvements: Secure entry renovations, new roof, windows, exterior doors, bus loop, sidewalk, plaza, curbing, stormwater infrastructure, lighting, digital and general signage.

Truman School

• Upgrades: Storage space, elevator, locker rooms, gym divider, ceilings, plaster, tile, concrete, ADA door operator, and building wayfinding signage.
• Exterior Work: Loading dock, retaining walls, sidewalks, stormwater retention, site lighting, fencing, and a digital sign.

Building Systems and Mechanical Upgrades

• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing: air handling, controls, emergency generators, bottle filling stations, lighting, intrusion detection, PA systems, fire and safety compliance.
