2024 Capital Improvement Project: BCC was hired for the upcoming 2024 Capital Improvement Project
2018 Capital Improvement Project: In December 2018, Royalton-Hartland (Roy-Hart) Central School District selected Buffalo Construction Consultants as the Construction Manager for the first phase of their upcoming capital project. The district engaged BCC to provide pre-referendum planning, pre-construction phase services and construction services on the estimated $12 million project.
The Roy-Hart CSD project includes high priority upgrades to the high school, middle school, elementary school, the maintenance building and the bus garage. Important elements of this project include substantial roof replacements at all four (4) district facilities, air handler replacements, window replacements, site drainage, new parking lots, new tennis courts, repairs to the track and field surfaces, playgrounds, receiving area elevators, and maintenance building renovations. Work on the project began in 2020 and finished in 2021.
Initially, the roof replacement scope of work was bid in Phase I, however, the timing of the bids due to the SED process resulted in bids received over budget. BCC recommended the postponement of roofing work until phase 2 and by repackaging and rebidding the roof packages at the optimal time, Roy-Hart CSD saved over $1,000,000.
