In May 2018, Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. was hired as Construction Manager for Attica Central School District’s capital improvement project. The project included significant work at Attica’s high school, middle school, and elementary school. Scope included roof replacements, HVAC and electrical upgrades, the relocation of their athletic stadium with updated concessions, press box, bleachers, filed house and storage areas.
At the elementary school, scope included roofing and flooring improvements, HVAC and electrical upgrades, and A/C throughout the entire building. Parking lot and entrance upgrades as well as additional site lighting were also included at each of the three district facilities. Work was completed in October 2020.
In April 2018, Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. was hired as Construction Manager for another school as part of the Rochester Schools Modernization Program. Flower City School 30/54 is part of Phase 2D of this district-wide effort. This $23 million project included the demolition of existing modular classrooms and a two-story addition. Work was completed in September 2020.
The North Collins School District Capital Plan was approved in December 2018. Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. was hired as Construction Manager on this $8 million project. The scope of the project included significant building condition survey work, including boiler upgrades, parking lot repairs, utility service upgrades and other programmatic upgrades. Work was spread out between the elementary school, high school, and bus garage. The project was completed in Fall 2020.
The recently completed Depew Union Free School District Capital Improvements Project included significant work at four (4) of its district facilities: Depew High School, Depew Middle School, Cayuga Heights Elementary and the Bus Garage. The project also included new athletic turf fields, which were completed in the first phase of the project. Work is substantially complete at all buildings and the project is currently in the closeout phase.
The project included extensive improvements at the high school, such as HVAC upgrades, upgraded site sanitary piping, new house theater lighting in the auditorium, accessibility upgrades, exterior and interior improvements and a new digital monument sign.
Major portions of work at the middle school included technology upgrades, HVAC improvements, secure entry renovations and exterior and foundation repairs. At Cayuga Heights Elementary, work included HVAC improvements, exterior wall repairs, a full renovation of the nurse suite and a new PA system. The project included replacing roofs at all three schools and M/E/P upgrades to the bus garage.
The Brocton Central School District 's Capital Building Project was approved in October 2018. Buffalo Construction Consultant's Inc. was hired as Construction Manager of this $6 million project.
The scope of the project includes new elementary science labs, new shop classroom space, HVAC and air conditioning upgrades, exterior wall restoration and athletic field upgrades. The project began in spring of 2020 and was completed by fall 2020.
Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. completed multiple phases of work on Edison Technical Campus, as part of Phase 2B of the Rochester Schools Modernization Program (RSMP). In the spring of 2018, our team began structural repairs within the building and reprogramming approximately 50,000 SF of classroom space. A next phase of work included site work, roof repairs, structural repairs, and significant classroom and programmatic space upgrades to approximately 50,000 SF. This project was completed in August 2020.
In December of 2017, Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. was hired by Fredonia Central School District for the role of Construction Manager on this $8.5 million capital improvement project.
The project scope of work included significant work at the High School, Middle School, Elementary School, and Wheelock Primary School. Site work on the main Fredonia CSD campus includes parking lots, sidewalks, additional site lighting at entrances, and security upgrades.
Work on the main campus included locker rooms and toilet rooms, roof replacements, HVAC upgrades, updated plumbing and electrical systems, as well as new windows, flooring, door and hardware replacements. Additional work at Wheelock Primary School took place including a large roof replacement and masonry restoration work. Work was completed in February 2020.
In November of 2017, Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. was hired as Construction Manager for this $26.8 million project. This 90,000 sq. ft. renovation transformed the vacant C.W. Miller Livery building into Buffalo Public Schools’ second Emerson School of Hospitality.
Scope included selective demolition, core and shell improvements, HVAC upgrades and updated plumbing and electrical systems. This project also includes a 5,000 sq. ft., two-story gymnasium addition with standard classrooms and one 600 sq. ft. apartment available for rent. The new culinary school features a public restaurant, private dining room and special events space, kitchens, a bakery and a food preparation and serving space designed to serve 500 students.
This exciting project includes the historic restoration of a unique five-story building that has stood on West Huron St. in downtown Buffalo for well over one hundred years. Construction for this project was completed in December 2019.
In 2017, Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. was hired to manage East Aurora Union Free School District’s capital improvements project. The project scope encompassed work at Parkdale Elementary, East Aurora Middle School and High School and District Offices. HVAC upgrades at Parkdale Elementary school allows for the building to be utilized by the community more frequently, especially in the summer months.
A new elevator has been installed at the middle school to provide ADA access to one of the gymnasiums located on the basement level. Interior renovations have been completed at both the middle school and high school, combined with a complete renovation to the high school’s athletic complex. This renovation includes a synthetic turf field, new track surface and new grandstand with press box. These upgrades and additions highlight the renovations incorporated into this district-wide project. The project was completed in October 2019.
Abraham Lincoln is part of Phase 2C of the Rochester Schools Modernization Program (RSMP). Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. served as Construction Manager for this $20 million project which included multiple additions and extensive renovations to the school.
This project included the elimination of modular classrooms, complete renovation of the existing building, a one-story classroom addition, and the expansion of the existing cafeteria and kitchen wing.
Major portions of the project scope included asbestos abatement, selective demolition, new additions, infrastructure modifications, new interior finishes, door and hardware replacements, masonry restoration, roof replacement, mechanical, electrical, plumbing system and equipment replacements, technology upgrades, and site improvements.
As a part of the Rochester School Modernization Program, Buffalo Construction Consultants Inc. is currently working on three schools for the district. The fourth school, John Walton Spencer School 16, is a Pre-K through 6 program that was completed in September 2018. This project included the elimination of modular classrooms and a complete renovation of the existing building that was built in 1910. This project also consisted of a 13,000 sq. ft. gymnasium addition and 2,000 sq. ft. classroom addition.
Major project scope included asbestos abatement, selective demolition, new additions, infrastructure modernization and alterations, structural remediation, new interior finishes, new windows/doors, masonry restoration, roof replacement, M/E/P systems, sprinkler system, head end equipment replacements, technology upgrades and site improvements.
The Lancaster Central School District Capital Plan was approved in May 2015. Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. was hired as Construction Manager on this $57.3 million project. The project included nearly $30M in building condition survey work – a new transportation facility, roofs, boilers, parking lots, utility services, etc.
The rest of the project was spread out between all district facilities, with the majority of the work at the high school. The scope included an expanded gym, a black box theater, library updates, music suite renovations, field house expansion, renovated locker rooms and athletic field upgrades.
