Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. has been selected by Douglas Development to be the construction manager on the adaptive re-use of this historic downtown Buffalo property. The project features the transformation of the former Buffalo Police headquarters at the corner of Franklin and Church Streets.
The 130,000-square-foot art-deco style building is being converted into 92 studio and 38 one-bedroom apartments across four floors – plus a preserved jail-cell block that will be restored and highlighted. The units will average approximately 450 square feet and 750 square feet in size, respectively. The project began in Spring 2020.
Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. was construction manager for Cedarland Development on the construction of the new five-story mixed-use project at the southeast corner of Main and Dodge streets.
The 128,000 sq. foot building includes 215 apartments – 85 one-bedroom, 15 two-bedroom and 115 studio units – across all five floors. The ground floor includes three commercial spaces, plus residential amenities, office, and co-working space. The fifth floor features an interior lounge and an adjacent exterior rooftop deck. The project was completed in November 2020.
