Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. has been selected as the General Contractor to manage the complete building envelope restoration of 65 Franklin St., the Buffalo Headquarters for Verizon Wireless.
This complex, phased project includes brick, stone and terra cotta repairs and restorations, as well as replacement of all windows. The project will require extensive logistics planning and coordination, since the building is located at one of the busiest corners in downtown Buffalo. The project began in late spring 2019 and will be a multi-year, multi-phase project.
Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. was selected to provide construction management services on the restoration of Buffalo Central Terminal. The Project will consist of various capital improvements to the building and surrounding site so it can be used as year-round “flexible space” for events.
Improvements are focused on the Main Concourse (14,850 square feet), and adjacent Waiting Room (6,640 square feet) and Restaurant/Bar (8,445 square feet). Exterior repairs and stabilization will take place as funding permits. These improvements are both aesthetic and functional, as the Concourse, and its adjoining spaces need to become fully code compliant upon completion of the
project. The total project construction cost budget for construction is approximately $4,000,000.
