In November of 2017, Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. was hired as Construction Manager for this $26.8 million project. This 90,000 sq. ft. renovation will transform the vacant C.W. Miller Livery building into Buffalo Public Schools’ second Emerson School of Hospitality.
Scope will include selective demolition, core and shell improvements, HVAC upgrades and updated plumbing and electrical systems. This project also includes a 5,000 sq. ft., two-story gymnasium addition with standard classrooms and one 600 sq. ft. apartment available for rent. The new culinary school will feature a public restaurant, private dining room and special events space, kitchens, a bakery and a food preparation and serving space designed to serve 500 students. This exciting project includes the historic restoration of a unique five-story building that has stood on West Huron St. in downtown Buffalo for well over one hundred years. Construction is scheduled to be completed in December 2019.
Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. has been selected to provide construction management services for renovations at the historic Statler Tower in downtown Buffalo. The scope of the project includes roof replacement, historic façade restoration and exterior improvements to the lower portion of the building. Work began in spring 2019.
Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc. has been selected as the General Contractor to manage the complete building envelope restoration of 65 Franklin St., the Buffalo Headquarters for Verizon Wireless.
This complex, phased project includes brick, stone and terra cotta repairs and restorations, as well as replacement of all windows. The project will require extensive logistics planning and coordination, since the building is located at one of the busiest corners in downtown Buffalo. The project began in late spring 2019 and will be a multi-year, multi-phase project.
